Twelve Principles of the Baha’i Faith




The following 12 principles are frequently listed as a quick summary of the Baha’i teachings. They are derived from transcripts of speeches given by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá during his tour of Europe and North America in 1912. 

1. Unity of God.

2. Unity of religion.

3. Unity of mankind.

4. Gender equality.

5. Elimination of all forms of prejudice.

6. Harmony of religion and science.

7. Independent investigation of truth.

8. Universal compulsory education.

9. Universal auxiliary language.

10. Loyalty to government and non-involvement in politics.

11. Elimination of extremes of wealth and poverty.

12. World is in need of Holy Spirit.

  5. i agree the 12 principles mentioned are good but cannot be implemented, it like asking everybody to eat pasta
